Julia Garim-Dias
Julia is an organizational strategist, social impact consultant, and all-around changemaker who has spent more than 10 years designing inclusive hiring practices and leadership journeys that go beyond the buzzwords. Based in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Julia is on a mission to connect people to meaningful work, whether it is through career development programs or building organizational cultures that actually live the values they preach.
Julia's resume is as varied as her interests: she has worked with startups, NGOs, and both public and private sector organizations, always with a focus on employability, diversity, inclusion, and human-centered design. She holds a Bachelor's in International Relations, an MBA in Creative Markets and Innovation, and is pursuing a Master's in Contemporary Organizational Management. She has also taken some pretty cool extra courses, including ones in gender studies, the future of work, and cooperative pedagogy.
As a facilitator, Julia has led over 500 hours of training — both online and in person — on everything from inclusive leadership to unconscious bias, with a healthy dose of humor and intersectional perspectives to keep things interesting. She has worked on employability and social impact programs funded by the ILO and Brazil's Ministry of Labor and even co-founded community-led responses to natural disasters. Talk about impact!
When Julia is not in "game-changing" mode, she is probably off finding new ways to make the world a better place (or enjoying a nice cup of coffee).
Laiza Machado
Laiza is the kind of person who sees work as a vehicle for growth: not just a paycheck. Based in Salvador, Bahia, Laiza's multidisciplinary background in business, data, and tech means she brings a strategic yet deeply human approach to career development and inclusive recruitment. She has worked across industries, from logistics to IT, always with a keen eye on connecting people to real growth opportunities.
Laiza's expertise is not just about what she knows; it is about how she blends strategic thinking with social awareness and practical execution. Her work on gender equity, investments, and organizational development is powered by the belief that careers should be designed, not endured.
When she is not leading projects at Vera, Laiza is probably diving deep into her Master's research on the systemic barriers women face in accessing credit. (Yes, she is that dedicated!) Whether she is mentoring entrepreneurs or strategizing for professionals navigating unequal environments, Laiza is committed to making sure everyone can access the opportunities they deserve.

Laura is a talent strategist, technical recruitment leader, and StandOut® certified coach who has spent over 5 years building scalable recruitment strategies that are not just about filling seats, but about creating exceptional experiences. She is the kind of person who sees talent as more than just resumes: it is about the people, the stories, and their unique mix of strengths.
Based in Rio de Janeiro, Laura brings a unique combination of sharp business instincts (shaped by her time in Investment Sales in NYC) and a deep passion for human-centered recruitment. She played a pivotal role in a hiring platform that was later acquired by Twitter for tens of millions of dollars. There, she did not just shape the product: she also brought in a multi-billion-dollar enterprise client, landing major growth milestones.
As Head of Technical Recruitment at a Canadian software development consultancy, Laura led a recruitment overhaul that resulted in 160% team growth and drastically reduced time-to-hire for complex, high-impact roles. Her candidate experience strategy led to high-performing outreach campaings (100% open, 89% reply rate) and had even rejected candidates referring top talent.
Laura works with individuals to uncover their strengths, helping them shine in interviews and beyond.
